As the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives moves into the future, it is time to solicit nominations for the 2010 election. It is imperative that we identify leaders who are willing and interested in guiding our organization to enhance its role as the voice of nursing leadership in the state of Florida and on a national basis to ensure our input and commitment to health care in the years ahead.
The following officers will be elected for the 2010-2012 term:
President-Elect
Secretary
Treasurer

Each position involves a two-year commitment of service except the President-Elect, which is a 3-year term. The office is assumed at the close of the Fall meeting. The President-Elect serves one year, followed by one year as President and one year as Past President. The By-Laws require that the candidates for the position of President-Elect must have previously served on the Board of Directors. Directors serve two years in their elected position and will chair one of seven committees, as assigned by the President. You must be an Active Member of FONE.
If you are interested and willing to serve your organization, please return “The Consent to Serve" form (attached) by July 23, 2010 to Claudia Distrito, FONE Past President via mail or fax.
