FONE 40th Anniversary Conference
Spring 2010 Conference
June 17th-18th, 2010

The Education Committee of the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives is pleased to announce a call for abstracts for presentations at our Spring 2010 meeting to be held on June 17th and 18th, 2010 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.

The theme of the conference is Nursing Leadership. We are interested in innovative initiatives and strategies that you use as leaders to promote leadership, leadership development and redesign of care delivery. Possible topics include: implementation of the AONE Nurse Executive competencies, innovative care delivery models, nurse manager development, succession planning initiatives, charge nurse development and other leadership topics.

The Florida Organization of Nurse Executives (FONE) is seeking candidates for their annual "FONE Leadership Award." The purpose of the award is to recognize the accomplishments of a Nurse Leader. We invite you to nominate individuals in your organization or from another facility. Any member of FONE, regardless of his/her position in their organization, is eligible for nomination. Please do not hesitate to nominate a worthy individual, even if there are some questions on the nomination form that you are unable to complete due to lack of knowledge. The deadline to nominate your candidate isFriday - March 26, 2010. The Leadership Award recipient will be awarded at the FONE Educational Conference to be held on June 17 & 18, 2010 at the Renaissance Hotel - Sea World in Orlando.
