To support FONE from the regional level, while advancing the future of healthcare in Northeast Florida through innovative nursing leadership

Our Strategies

• Identifying and securing resources to ensure there is an adequate and diverse nursing work force for the future.
• Adopt FONE values and behaviors.
• Provide for educational and leadership development through conferences, seminars and monthly presentations at the local and state level.
• Provide for the sharing and the participation in evidence based practice and research.
• Encourage all NEFONE members to become active at the local and state level.
• Engage membership in cultivating the future of nursing.

NEFONE Scholarships

Scholarship committee, co-chaired by Barbara Drummond-Huth and Ruth Stiehl. It was further proposed to give two $500 scholarships to members for projects related to evidence bases research.

Membership

A membership committee was formed with membership to include Park Balevre, Steven Ulbricht and Mary Parry.
