Prioritizes, prescribes, delegates and coordinates delivery of Nursing Care utilizing the Nursing Process as outlined in the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Provides care to patients throughout the Diagnostic Imaging Department with a primary focus on, but not limited to, patients undergoing invasive procedures. Participates in monthly QA process to assure proper utilization of Conscious Sedation practices. Must be a CPR instruction provider for Radiology Department. Places PICC lines according to approved department protocol. Responsible for work schedules and radiologist exam schedules.
