If you have what it takes, then join us as our Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Baptist Outpatient Services in South Florida.  

In this role, you will help ensure the quality and safety of patient care delivered across multiple clinical settings. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing Practice as well as Operational Business Executives to develop and implement policies and procedures. Your leadership will oversee the clinical practice of 200+ nurses in Home Care, Urgent Care, Ambulatory Surgery, Endoscopy and Executive Health. You will also lead and execute the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Clinical Competency programs, Infection Control, Pharmacy and Dispensing—assuring appropriate resources for the delivery of care in all areas. Other responsibilities include:

* Develop strategies for nursing recruitment, retention and recognition
* Assure the appropriate resources for the delivery of high quality, safe care
* Reinforce the integrated shared governance structure
* Foster a nursing environment where collaboration is valued
* Partner with Nursing Councils to promote education and achievement

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least three years of proven leadership experience in a senior management nursing role; master’s degree in nursing, business or health services required. This position requires broad knowledge in finance, operations, regulatory affairs and business development. Prior experience in an ambulatory environment with a highly dispersed geography and multiple regulatory environments—including Home Care, preferred. Also responsible for assuring that all nursing services are provided in compliance with standards and requirements of the Joint Commission, Florida Board of Nursing, and all other applicable regulatory bodies.
